How support finds its way forward
Sizana connects donors, clinicians, and families.
We fund investigations, treatment, and preservation for people who meet our eligibility criteria. Funding is limited, so we prioritise applicants who meet the criteria below — but meeting all of them is not a strict requirement to apply.
Who we support

South African citizens
Applicants must be residing in South Africa.

Household income of R30,000 or less
Support is prioritised for households earning R30,000 or less per month.

Priority for applicants without living children
This helps direct limited funding where the need is greatest.

Women up to 42 using their own eggs
Support may cover eligible fertility treatment using a patient’s own eggs.

Donor egg treatment where clinically needed
For women over 42, or younger women where donor treatment is clinically appropriate.

Fertility preservation before oncology treatment
For oncology patients who need to preserve fertility before treatment.
